Who we are
Who we are
Digitize! is a joint research project of the Universities of Vienna, Linz, Graz and Salzburg. The University of Innsbruck participates in the Digitize! project as an associated observer.
Partner Universities
The surveys and the Digitize! project are led by Univ.-Prof. Sylvia Kritzinger from the University of Vienna (Department of Government). She is a professor for methods in social sciences and has been working with scientific surveys for years.
We work on the preparation and implementation together with Austrian experts from various social sciences (such as sociology, political science, communication science, etc.) from the universities in Linz, Graz, Salzburg and Innsbruck. On the one hand, they deal with scientific surveys and, on the other hand, with different social topics (such as political participation, work and economy, family and values, and many more).
The areas of data protection and data security as well as research ethics also play an important role at Digitize! With Univ.-Prof. Nikolaus Forgó and Univ.-Prof. Barbara Prainsack as head and head of the legal and ethics teams, respectively, we can ensure that the highest standards are maintained regarding the legal and ethical handling of all data.
You can find all the information about the universities, institutes and individuals involved on our website.
